Mark Bradshaw
Poetry and short story writer
Mark Bradshaw was a gifted man of wisdom, humour and depth of character. His life spanned several careers from Crane Engineer to DJ at summer camps in Norway. However, Mark was best known and celebrated for his UK Government Lobbying work during the first decade of the turn of this century. Recognised at Buckingham Palace for his achievements, Mark campaigned tirelessly to negotiate best prices on goods and services for independent forecourts who were lost in their droves to two-tier pricing. Having owned and ran his own forecourt, Mark brought awareness, inspiration and motivation to the hearts of all forecourt owners through regular mainstream radio and television, and through his national magazine; Garage Watch. Mark’s creative mind later evolved into social media management, always leading with a heart-based focus on what mattered to his patrons and clients. Away from the spotlight, Mark continued his family’s creative gene in story-telling and poetry. However, his writing never reached an audience until now. This book serves as a legacy from a man who will never be forgotten in the hearts and minds of those who knew him; who left for the stars before he could hold this book in his hands. May these pages reach a place in your own life that serves to encourage you to live your purpose just as Mark did, and make your own dreams a reality.
