Lisa J Rivers always wanted to write, and after being asked why she has so many cats, she decided that was where her writing career would begin! She compiled each poem chronologically, starting with her first cat, Kitty. Surprisingly, her obsession with cats didn't begin there, but instead, several years, and two/three cats later. 

Since then, she has continued to write in many genres, including black comedy, short stories and Nordic crime dramas. She also writes under a couple of other pen names.

Lisa is married to Rich, has 3 children, 2 granddaughters, and many cats. Born and bred in Leicester, she lived in Kent for 10 years and now resides in Derby.
